The DBSC Bus (which seats 12 people) is available Monday through Friday and
provides transportation to seniors who are unable to drive to and from the
Center themselves. The bus leaves the Center at 8:45 AM and makes two morning
trips bringing the seniors to the Center in time for the scheduled programs. It
travels to Locust Valley, Bayville, Oyster Bay and East Norwich. Passengers
leave the Center between 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM to return to their homes. For bus
transportation, reservations must be made one day prior by calling the Program
Office at (516) 922-1770. A suggested donation of $2.00 round trip is requested.
This program is made possible with funding from
the Nassau County Dept. of Senior Citizen Affairs, the NYS Office for the Aging
and the Administration on Aging, the Town of Oyster Bay, United Way of LI, the
Oyster Bay Community Foundation and the generous support of our members and
friends.
